Protopia - A Journey to the Edge of Collective Evolution
Protopia – A Journey to the Edge of Collective Evolution
Protopia is a desirable and achievable image of the future, which involves constant evolution as it approaches
In 2020, the whole world experienced a shift that was both shocking and enlightening. With the global lockdown, humanity was set to pause and reflect on the foundations of its collective being. For those who explore the personal and collective evolution of humankind, this pause became further evidence of the unfolding transition of civilization to its new stage. The responsibility for our collective future and the stakes we bet on it increase: this next stage invites us to connect and align our personal (spiritual) evolution, the evolution of our glocal communities, and the quest to address global challenges facing all of us.
This course is for practitioners – entrepreneurs, researchers, facilitators, change leaders, policy makers, and more – who sense that our civilization is going through a great evolutionary transition, and who want to find their unique role and contribution in this process.
The course is shaped as a collectively created learning journey to explore the world we want to see – and the possible ways to bring it into being. It will take you on the pathway to the roots of the evolutionary crisis – economic, political, and epistemological – and then to discover what lies beyond, behind the barrier, the ‘evolutionary attractor’ of the flourishing planetary futures. We will learn to sense into, (re)connect with, and act from, this ‘evolutionary attractor’ that manifests itself through our ways of being and acting.
Course Objectives
Design a personal Operating System – a set of principles / values / behavioral patterns & habits for the ‘future self’
Establish a stereoscopic perspective that will expand participants’ thinking about the moment of history we are going through, and the challenges we are dealing with
Empower participants in their role as role of (individual and collective) ‘agents of conscious evolution’
Explore and master a set of tools and methods that will help participants (re)discover and (re)evaluate their life’s purpose and goals in this new role
Develop the ‘future intuition’, the way of Protopian ‘future sensing’ that supports participants’ short- & long-term decisions and actions
- Work on participants’ personal and collective projects learning how to embody qualities of Protopian futures
- Invite participants to seed their own Protopia labs and catalyze their own evolutionary learning ecosystems in the world
