I have always had a passion for social justice and uplifting the voices of those who have been marginalized and excluded. This passion led to me to study law, where I fell in love with Constitutional Law. In particular, I became fascinated with the potential of participatory processes in law and, more specifically, in assisting with socio-economic rights disparities. My Masters thesis, and now my PhD, focuses on the potential that participatory processes have in addressing the injustices of the housing system in South Africa and other developing countries. I really hope to be able to make a meaningful contribution to people’s lives with my work.

I have also learnt how crucial and powerful education is, on so many levels. For this reason, I am thankful to have the privilege of being part of the Campus Co-Evolve team. I currently energise the Admissions and the Transformative Media TA role. I am also particularly interested in the pedagogy of education and hope to be part of the transformation of our approach to education. Above all, I am a life-long learner and am always interested in gaining new knowledge and hearing different perspectives.
